Is this all that I need to get started tuning my WRX?

This is meant to be a complete system, including the cables needed to connect to your laptop. However, there are several other things you may wish to add to use this unit to its full potential. If you are tuning it yourself, a wideband O2 sensor system is a must have for adjusting the fuel. You can upgrade the boost control with our boost control solenoid package.

Does this unit support AVCS motor swaps?

Yes. Use Digital Frequency In 3 on the options port for the second cam input. You can use PWM2 and one of the high current outputs for the cam control solenoids. The high current output will need a 1N4001 diode across the solenoid, banded end to the 12 volt supply.
